Thanks Alan. It's important for me to state quite clearly what I want this car to do for me ... 1. It's an every day driver when I don't have to or choose to drive more specialist machinery 2. It may be used a little on track but only to give passenger rides, not to race 3. It will be used in all weather and it will live outdoors 4. It's a long term proposition 5. With my feet firmly in the Porsche collectibles camp, this has to give me practical experience of all the laest Porsche technology [;)] So ... A. That colour ! B. Bucket seats with the 19" wheels --- not in black C. PDK with Sports Chrono + (not PCM) D. Alcantara steering wheel + floor mats E. PCCB's --- I adore them. No stuck calipers, no rust, no wheel cleaning, very long life, stupendous performance in a car of this weight, reduced unsprung mass (even better handling), a great colour match with the Peridot ... F. Sound +, Radio CD, CD storage, Cup holders, rear luggage screen, Auxilliary connection for iPhone No telephone connect, no parking sensors, normal battery, 64l fuel tank .... Don't like the fact that the Auxilliary iPhone/iPod connection doesn't provide power, would quite have liked the Alcantara Rooflining and door cards, ---- but I bridled at the cost of some things ... Love the fact that the PDK is under the 225 of CO2 threshold for cheaper RFLicence .... And am thoroughly enjoying learning the quirkiness of PDK which is verging on the brilliant until it does something you hadn't quite expected --- like kick down when you have set manual changes ! Not a criticism, but a something to learn how to use !! I've done 1430 miles, have run it in quite progressively, will change engine a gearbox oil and filters on Tuesday, then the car can start to do some real work [:)] In terms of balance, the car verges on the magical .... loving it [:D][:D]
