R10 '˜Pride of Ownership'™ Concours 2013

Hi Guys,

Will be entering the turbo this year, will get the form done next couple of days [;)]

Steve and Caz

Great, Steve... Have emailed you re the special extra award we have spoken about... give me a shout when you have a minute [;)]

New award this year is just in the process of being sorted...

Martin O'Kane Memorial Award, for Overall Winner... this will be an award that the winner keeps just for a year, with his/her name engraved upon it.
In memory of Martin, who passed away earlier this year, and who will now still be an ongoing part of the R10 concours.[:)]

Come on everyone - all are welcome to our show and shine concours... plenty of room for more cars at the moment![;)]

After my first taste of a concours at Chatsworth on Sunday, forms being sent in today in respect of my 997 C2S - and I thought I would bring along my other 'pride' - a 1999 Subaru Impreza RB5 Prodrive - if that's not being too greedy and taking up too many places. Getting two cars ready for the event will keep me off the streets for a while.....!

Looking forward to it though. Fingers crossed for some 'Chatsworth weather'

Peter

Hi Paul

Do we have a 'Well used and rarely cleaned' category? [;)]

That would enable me to enter either of mine [:D]

Now where did I put that bucket and sponge......?

Ravi

Still plenty of room at this time, for any members wishing to attend our friendly concours [8D][:D]

C'mon everyone - still room for 23 cars - just come along anyway and you might be pleasantly surprised[:D]

Hi Robina

Good to see you managed to get onto the forum, with your first ever post to R10![:)].......

You'll need to enter some basic details on your car, etc... If you have any trouble sorting this out, please contact me again and I will help.

Look forward to seeing you with your Ferrari.[:D]

Just about to send my form in - guess I'll need to find some polish.....

About time too, Stu![;)] Looks like a few less than last year at this moment in time - might have to bring both[8D]

Please GET YOUR ENTRIES IN and have a fun day with us (it's not a serious concours - it's a relaxed Pride of Ownership one!)[:D] But great all the same!

Hi Paul
I have officially entered the concourse , but I don't think I shall be taking the wheels off ........probably just a wash and Hoover will have to do ! I had a great time at the classic over the weekend , some fantastic cars and strangely enough I also enjoyed trying to help parking of non 911s which wasn't that easy!

All the best, Russ

Brilliant, Russ.

Thanks so much for your assistance with the car parking at the Classic - amusing and frustrating all in one, I'm sure you'll agree[:)]

Due to the cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off!

In many cases, the light's on dimly, but there's no-one home[;)]

Paul

I am a R10 member, but have never been to a meeting! I am planning to bring my 997 to the Pride of ownership concours, but not to compete, just to look. Is that OK?

Regards

John McCulloch

Hi John... Of course you're most welcome to come along - you don't need to enter the concours.
Will be great to meet you and see your car - we're a friendly bunch [:)][:D]
