Finally been able to book for this one, just in time by the sound of it!
The PCGB site wouldn't let me buy 2 tickets at once, had to place two seperate orders.

Eddie - you are a little late for the original discounted tickets we had, sorry - they have all been bought.
However - if you take a look at the Shuttleworth website, you can buy entry tickets for this event up to a few days before the event date for just £25 (so only a couple of quid more). As we arranged all this beforehand, we can’t guarantee that you will be able to park together, but at least you will be there... Hope you can sort it - will be good to see you there!

Hi all Shuttleworth people,

Paul, I note the event opens at 9am and runs until 6pm. It looks as if there will be loads to see, but are we obliged to turn up at any particular time and do we have to stay the whole day? Have we our own parking / display area?

I you can let us know, then perhaps we can arrange a drive there together for as many as want to, and /or a rendezvous place / time so we can arrive at the show ground in convoy ?

Mark and all - there’s no specific arrival time, but it would be nice if whatever drive you might like to plan beforehand saw those taking part in it arriving by the opening time, please, so we can have a good display of our cars together, at least initially, thus minimising the comings and goings.

I hope to be there by before 9 am, so will see others there as they arrive. It’s your choice when you would like to leave.

There is indeed a Porsche only area (20 cars), priority being for those who received their tickets via the Club website (which included a green ‘Designated Parking Area Pass’ with the ticket(s) they received). If there is sufficient space we might be able to include some paying directly (on gate or other wise)... depends on how tight Shuttleworth are on the gate, etc... i.e. we’ll try our best []

Look forward to seeing you all on Sunday - enjoy your drive there.

Linda and I are aiming for 9.00 arrival and breakfast.

We will be at the BP services on the A6 at Bedford, junction with A421 at 8.30 for a few minutes if anyone wants to drive down to Old Warden in convoy.

We we are taking picnic plus chairs and table.

Most impressed with the B17 and the Hurricanes. Prime location for picnic spot too.

Great event today, and good to see everyone settling in to the viewing area to picnic and watch the airshow together. Amazing to see 7 Hurricanes in the air at the same time, and what an amazing aerobatic display by the Royal Jordanian Air Team! This event is highly recommended, and one we must surely do again.

Glad you all enjoyed it - I must admit to being surprised by how good (and popular) it was too - the air displays were inspiring, reminding me of visiting Farnborough air show many times, many years ago with my parents [8D]
