LAST FEW SPACES LEFT. 22 cars booked.

The first DOTM of 2020 will be on 16th February. Starting at 9.30am after breakfast if required at the Super Sausage Cafe, we’ll take a good drive out towards Chipping Norton to the nearby Hook Norton Brewery (www.hooky.co.uk) where spaces are reserved for a brewery tour at 11.30am at a cost of £15.00 per head.

You are welcome to come on the drive, whether or not you take the tour and lunch.

There are just 36 spaces for the tour (so it’s first come, first served) which lasts approximately 2 hours including a free beer tasting. In the first 1½ hours around the brewery we’ll see the original steam engine, learn how the brewery works, its history and tour the stables - their Shire Horses still deliver beer to local pubs in the traditional way.

Upon completion of the tour, it's back to the sampling bar for a ½ hour beer tasting, so bring a teetotal co-pilot!

They have a great on site restaurant where we can have Sunday lunch after the tour at £15 per head for one course. Not everyone might want to do this, but we have to pre-order. The menu is now available and will be sent to you when you reserve your tour spaces. It includes traditional roast amongst other things.

Please reply on this thread and also then let me know by email to mark.grimwood1@btinternet.com who will be coming and whether you would like to see the lunch menu. Payment will be needed to secure your places and I’ll give you payment details after I hear from you.

Looking forward to a great day out in our Porsches.

Mark

Hi Mark , Joanne and myself would like to do the meet up and drive, stay and have lunch ,but opt out of the brewery tour if that’s ok

Thanks everyone. You are all on the list. Please note I have edited my first post to say that those that want to miss the tour can still come along on the drive and have lunch. A few are doing this already.

Cheers.
