- Thread starter markgrimwood
- Start date
Kind regards.
Mark
After this, you might be able to fill the few remaining spaces by contacting the brewery direct if you act quickly.
Some members are coming along for the drive and lunch without the tour. You can still do this if you let me know before I have to give final lunch numbers.
I hope a few more of you can be tempted.... !!
Cheers.
Mark
Could you put me down for one tour but no lunch .
Email sent .
Many thanks
Russ .....
Cheers.

I sent you an email this morning, I take it there are enough spaces left for one more car
It will most likely be just me, and I would be interested in the Lunch option if you could send the menu over please
Thanks
Are there any spaces left for Sundays drive ?
Thanks
Malcolm
Malcolm, I have replied to you by email, as you know.
To reach the brewery at Hook Norton OX15 5NY, we need to depart the Super Sausage Cafe Potterspury at 9.30 am if you want to follow the suggested route. Breakfast there will be available for purchase from 7.30.
Coffee and tea will be waiting for us at the brewery from around 10.45.
The first of three tour groups will start at 11.30. Groups 2 & 3 will follow on at 5-10 minute intervals thereafter.
After the beer tasting at the end of the tour, lunch will be served from about 1.45pm. We are a large party so please be patient if you have to wait a few minutes.
We can hang around the brewery restaurant and shop until the premises closes at 4pm.
Linda and I look forward to seeing you all then.
Regards. Mark
Lunch should be available too, but just check with me.
Cheers.

Hi Mark,
A really good day out, thanks for organising. Look forward to the next one.

Thanks for organising this on Sunday. The drive, the tour and the lunch were all really good. That was the first time we had taken the 911 out in such consistently challenging conditions since we got it last summer (it has been out in the wet quite a few times) and I was well pleased with the handling, stability and the comfort given what we went through.
Looking forward to next month but maybe some clearer weather so we can take in the scenery a little better.
Thanks for all your kind messages. It was a good day out despite the weather, but we all have a bit of car cleaning to do. It was great to have 15 Porsches with headlights blazing in my rear view mirror, and the radios were really useful in keeping us together - a worthwhile purchase!
Just a dig at those who didn't tell me they weren't coming - you know who you are! Our R10 events are becoming ever more popular and some are selling out, so if you don't advise your absence with sufficient notice, other members who might fill absentee spaces can miss out. It's also a pain waiting for late-comers, only to find that they aren't coming at all! I understand that there can be many valid reasons for pulling out if you are booked, but please bear the above in mind.
Cheers.
Mark
