I’m in the process of arranging a visit to Gaydon for the British Car Museum, which has been revamped recently.
I’m thinking around the Sunday 28th May (to be confirmed), but at this moment just gauging interest.
If anyone would like to join us there, you MUST (please) email me directly on r10@porscheclubgb.com with your name and I’ll put you on the list. If I can get any concession on the entry price, I will try, but generally it is £14 for adults*. All are welcome, of course.

*UPDATE 29.1.17
I’ve been over to talk to British Car Museum today and we can get a reduced ‘group’ admission price of *£9 if there are a minimum of 12 attendees... so email me asap to be included... (can’t sniff at that price) [;)]

*LATEST UPDATE...
This event is definitely going ahead - Sunday 28th May
See post number 21 on this thread for up to date info and attendance instructions, please.

I think it’s well worth a look - would be nice to know if you’re interested in going, but would appreciate names via the above contact if you decide to, please [:)]

Is it a Saturday or Sunday. ? Eddie.

It’s a Sunday, Eddie.

I’ve been over to talk to Gaydon today and we can get a reduced ‘group’ admission price of £9 if there are a minimum of 12 attendees - so, we have around 7 or so interested at the moment - we need some more. You can always, of course, pay the full £14 with ‘Gift Aid’ and your ticket will be valid for 12 months (this is not so with the £9 option, I believe).

Thanks for all your intentions of coming to all on this forum, BUT can I also repeat that, in order to make a concise list of attendees, it’s essential to email me on the R10 email address posted above, please![;)]

Thanks a bunch...[:D]

Hi new member (ooh er, don’t titter) Len...

You’re on the list for the visit, as per my reply to your email (thanks for emailing).

PS Why not ‘pop’ along to one of our upcoming region meets?

Would be good to see you and your Porsche.... see dates on R10 forum [;)]

We seem to have a few more in numbers now - will have to put a reasonable limit on due to space on the day, as it is their Festival of Transport event on this day, 28th May.

Can I ask again that those who have showed interest on this thread or any others interested, please email me on r10@porscheclubgb.com if you definitely want to come along to this so I can keep a named list - thanks [:)]

I did a tour of the latest facility there a few weeks ago, and our Tour Guide was a Boxster Owner, so I hope that you get him on your trip round......

Paul,

Would like to attend on 28 May . I recently when and have a year ticket

Regards

Mike Calvert
