R10 Show & Shine 2015 - Sat 29 Aug 2015

Hi Paul

Thanks for a great day at Elite, good company and plenty of nice cars - well done:ROFLMAO:

Thank you, Brad, and to everyone else who came.

Always a pleasure and fun to see people enjoying their cars... oh, and a big thanks to all at Elite, of course [:)]

Hi Andy ...these are the results unofficially as i recall ....

Three categories

early air cooled ...paul ebbs .....

early water cooled ..barry barton ....

modern water cooled ...manjit ....

best overall and the annual trophy won by barry ...

best cakes ...my misses ...

well done to paul and elite motors for a great day ..well done .

Russ .....

Sorry you couldn’t be there as well, Andy.

Well... a little embarrassing actually - I won aircooled[8D] (but ‘whatever’). Although this appears to be a bit like ‘awards for the boys’, it was all above board and independently voted/counted by Elite.

This is what happens when you have a relatively small turnout - majority of cars were in the ‘Late’ category, but it was fun all the same to meet several new members and have a good chat in nice weather[:D].

Best Late Watercooled - Manjit Aujla (997 C2S)

Best Early Watercooled/Overall Winner - Barry Barton (928 S2)

Best Aircooled - Paul Ebbs (993 C2)

Barry Barton received a nice bottle of Bollinger from Elite, and his name goes on the Martin O’Kane Award for Best Overall car in 2015.

(Ooh, and I forgot Best Cakes, as Russ says, ... his missus).
