R10 Weekend Trip

Hi All

Apologies that I've been so silent on the forum. I've been in the US on work for the last two weeks and the schedule didn't allow time for checking the forum.

But I'm really thrilled to see so many booked for the weekend and thanks Paul for keeping the score 😊

I have a few route ideas and will circulate these in a week or so - travelling again this week. Please feel free to put forward your ideas in the meantime.

Paul - please PM me with your mobile and we can arrange to speak/meet to finalise details.

Best regards,

Ravi

Hi everyone

Sarah and I enjoyed meeting everyone at Towcester for the first time today (993 speed yellow targa).

We've booked a room at the Hollin Hall Hotel for 29 June and we're looking forward to joining you all then. There may be a slight hitch in that it's my daughters birthday around then so we may have to do some jiggling.

John & Sarah

That's great,,
Nice to meet you both today, sorry that I did not get to have a longer chat, your car looked very special and a great colour.
Kind regards Andy.

Hi John and Sarah - great to hear you've booked up for the weekend jaunt - you're on the list![;)]
Oh, and welcome to Region 10 - look forward to meeting you (and your car[:)]) very soon.[:D]

Just a reminder to everyone coming on this weekend that entry to the R8 concours on the Sunday can be had in advance for £7 by filling out the form on page 10 of May Porsche Post and sending off the payment. If you prefer, you can pay at the gate, which is £10 on the day (the house and gardens will be open at a discounted rate for members showing their current Club membership card).[;)]

Can John Goodacre and Ken Walsh please send me your mobile numbers, as they do not seem to be on my database?

Please email me on r10@porscheclubgb.com

Thanks[;)]

John and Ken, I have your details now, thanks.

I have now sent all participants an itinerary (via email), kindly written by Ravi and added to and mapped by myself... i.e. where we're meeting initially on the Saturday and an intended route to the Hotel for the evening, via some interesting places.

Looking forward to a great weekend[:D]

I now definitely cannot make this. My 986 is being trailered to RPM in Cheddington this week having started to make a frightening noise!

Sorry to hear this, Chris[:(] - hope it's not as bad as you might think... from the engine?

Not long now... looking forward to seeing everyone next Saturday for our jolly to the Peak District [;)][:D]

Big thanks to Ravi for organising this great weekend and thanks to all who came along - we all enjoyed out time together and we hope to join each other on another one soon! Maybe I won't get lost so much next time![;)]

Just want to add my thanks to Ravi for organising a brilliant weekend, and to all who took part for making Elaine and me feel so welcome and part of the family.

Hope Sunday went well for you all. We had a great day with Mac and Sue as part of Porkers in the Trough followed by a scenic drive back taking in Yorkshire Dales and hardly any motorway until after I had dropped Elaine.

582 miles and good memories

Thanks again

hardly any motorway until after I had dropped Elaine.

Hope you didn't drop her too hard, Graham (only joking) [:)][;)]

We were lucky on the return journey, as I just set the sat nav to "˜home (via NON motorway)' and it took us on a fantastic route across country, with mainly great, clear roads. [:D][:D]
This was quite a relief after having received a text from Bob earlier about the jams on the M1 south!

Hi All
