R10 Xmas Meal 2013 at Porsche Experience Centre - FULL

Hi Paul 2 more for the meal and 2 more for the drive, as we will be bringing both 997's for a spin on the track Thanks Jayne

You’re on the list - please note booking details... when they become available, that is. Watch this space. We need at least another 8 or 9 people to make the minimum required for this evening meal ... C’mon all R10ers, ROLL UP, ROLL UP...

UPDATE 8.10.13 Please note: Unfortunately, it has not been possible to arrange the ‘U-Drive’ sessions with Porsche Experience Centre to co-incide with the Xmas Meal. This is, in part, due to the fact that the Centre does not have lighting for the darker evening/night - it will be by dark by 5pm in December... it’s been suggested that we hold it at a brighter time in 2014. This makes sense, really - I will see what can be done for the future in 2014. Thanks for everyone who showed their interest, and I will keep hold of the list in readiness for when we can stage the event. I am still talking to PEC about the detail of the Xmas Meal, which will still go ahead, subject to us having our minimum of 30 covers for the evening. At the moment we have up to around 18 -20. I’m doing the best I can to make it a great evening for us all, but..... We need more numbers to make it happen, though!.......Please say if you’d like to come[:)]... If we do not manage sufficient numbers, this will have to be cancelled!

All sounds very promising Paul - thank you! If it is later in the week, ie the pencilled-in-date of Thursday the 12th - or even the 11th - Caroline and I should be up for both the dinner (the two of us) and the u-drive (just me!). If earlier in the week, we may struggle. Just returned from Strasbourg where we were spectating on Rallye de France. Good opportunity to stretch the Porsche's legs! More anon! Many thanks Peter

Great Peter - hope you’ve noticed (post above yours) that the U-Drive is now not happening on the same evening. Xmas Meal is set for Thursday 12th December now. Some more information will be posted and sent soon....[:)] have spent more time on this than anything else, at the moment!

IMPORTANT: Please ensure you leave enough time for your payment to reach Club Office... THE DEADLINE FOR RECEIVING YOUR PAYMENTS IS 25TH NOVEMBER 2013… Don’t delay... We will know by this deadline if the minimum number of attendees of 30 has been reached for the meal to take place (If this is not so, it will be unfortunately beyond my control, the event will not happen and your cheque will not be cashed / no payment taken, of course). Well, sorry if this post looks more like a tax demand [:'(] but you all need to know what’s what. I’m told that the Centre looks very nice at night, too, and am looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible… Should be good - see you there![8D][;)] Any queries, please contact me directly (see Porschefile).

Good to hear you’re coming[:)] You have to send your £ to Club Office ...have you seen the Booking info above? ...I’ll send you another email, Paul, just in case.

Paul, Cheque sent in accordance with your instructions. Surely they must be licensed, as they were certainly serving alcohol at the F1 hospitality! Ashley

If you are one of the well over 30 members who showed an interest in coming along, make sure you pay for your place well in advance - to get to Club Office by the 25th November latest! You know it makes sense[:)]
