R17 service and glass tech recommendations

Hi,
As a Porsche-owning and club newcomer (I have just bought a '97 993 Carrera Coupe) I would be grateful for some advice.
Firstly, I wonder if anyone could recommend a good independent garage? There are a couple listed in Eastleigh close to where I am, but has anyone had any good or bad experiences at these or elsewhere? (Or is the OPC at Portsmouth of any use... Do they have anyone particularly good with 993s?).
Secondly, since buying the car I have noticed the rear window rubber has lifted away from the bodywork in the lower corners and water can get into the channel underneath. Not so good obviously. Has anyone had any similar issues and does anyone know of a good glass technician in our area?

If you're near Eastleigh, Porsche Centre Bournemouth (PC Portsmouth's sister dealership) isn't too far away, in Ferndown and they've got two technicians who are well versed on air-cooled cars. In fact, one of them trained on Carrera 3.2's and I can't recommend him highly enough. As a PCGB member, owning a 'Classic' you get heavily discounted labour rates and PCB are a 'Porsche Classic Club' dealership, so join that club and get lots of other benefits.

Pay them a visit and have a chat - they're very approachable.
 
I would echo the plaudits for PC Bournemouth and are part of the same group as PC Portsmouth who are less experienced. I would add that Brookspeed are an excellent independent, the purchaser of my first Boxster has used them for some years with excellent results. They look after a wide range of Porsche cars and have contacts for work they cannot do. I am considering using them when my 991 runs out of warranty, but go and talk to them to see for yourself, they are friendly!
