R21 Summer BBQ with the MG Car Club and Craft Fair

R21 is organising a joint summer BBQ with the MG Car Club. As some of you know the MG club also meet at the same pub as us on the 3rd Tuesday of each month and recently suggested a joint meeting. We thought it may be good to make this a different day (Sunday) and larger venue and also combine with a BBQ.

We have therefore arranged to hold this event on the village green in Speen on Sunday July 14th where there will be a Craft Fair held in the village marquee, also on the village green, and organise a BBQ in the local pub on the green (The King William IV, www.thekingwilliamivspeen.co.uk).

The BBQ can be paid for on the day and there will be a full range of BBQ food and deserts starting at around £7.50. The Craft Fair is an annual event and will have around 25 different craft companies and some charities involved.

As this event will be on the village green we would like to provide a donation to the village as the upkeep of the green has to be funded by the village, and will collect a donation of £5/car for this.

We will be able to accommodate 25 Porsches and 25 MG's on a first come basis so if you are interested please add your name and car details to this forum, with your email address. The MG car club are advertising this same information on their website and in their newsletters.

We would like cars to arrive between 11am and 12pm, and I will confirm nearer the date any additional details.

Chris
