R21 visit to Brooklands on Saturday 18th July

Hi guys

In the interest of research popped in today for a quick look around and lunch!

Can but recommend the 4D Experience, an extra £5 per ride -Napier-Railton, Red Arrows or Mike Hawthorn around Le Mans.

Just to reiterate, entrance is via the Campbell Gate off the B374 Caenswood Road -DO NOT follow signposts for Brooklands Museum and Mercedes Benz World. You will then be guided to the paddock immediately in front of the main museum building -it should be signed Porsche Club R21.

I'm aiming to be there about 10:30, possibly with Porsche in tow!

Thanx for organising Jason -for the seven cars that did turn up what a fantastic day helped considerably by the weather... but where was everybody else??

My pleasure and thanks for your time and showing us around with your interesting anecdotes about the cars and planes. I agree iIt was a shame that more people didn't show up for the day but I'm sure that the people who did had an enjoyable time.

Also I must thank John Rankin from R29 for joining us on the day as our guide from Brooklands. Your stories about your career in aviation and your interesting facts about Brooklands were fantastic. Thanks again.
