Hi All,
I am organising a visit to the DeHavilland Aircraft Heritage Centre, London Colney ( http://www.dehavillandmuseum.co.uk/ ) on Saturday 12th April at 10:30 am. I plan for us to meet at a cafe beforehand for a tyre kick and some breakfast and then drive to the museum (About 10 to 20 miles). The visit will cost £9 per person which includes tea and biscuits when we arrive.

If you are interested please will you list your names below so I can gauge interest and keep the museum informed of how many cars we expect on the day. We have chosen April as hopefully the weather will have improved and we will all be able to attend in our Porsches and be able to get a great region photo for the Porsche Post.

Went there a few years ago with Pilot Office Melv (above). Excellent museum. Not sure I can make this one though as it's the same day as the Workers Conference. [:(]

Are interlopers from south of the river welcome? I may not be able to get management approval (it's a month before daughter's wedding!) but I'd love the opportunity to get up close to a Mossie!!

Thanks for all the responses. I will put together a formal list over the next couple of days. Regards Jason

Hi All, I have had a phone call from the DeHavilland museum today to postpone our visit on the 12th April 2014 due to Health and Safety reasons as they have to move one of the large planes that day. They are looking at their diary and will be giving me some options for a new date to visit. Please keep an eye on this forum for updates. Regards Jason

Hi All, This visit has now been changed to the 26th April. Please can you advise via this forum if you can still attend. Regards Jason

Jason, The new date of 26 April is no good for us, which is a bummer since my pilot friends and I were looking forward to this event [&o] Please remove my name +2 from the list. Thanks, Mike.
