R22 Visit to RAF Spadeadam - Thursday 8th June

Less than one day to go.....

A little bit of a special thing for tomorrow, if any of you have nice cameras or even drones, we have special permission to take them into the base grounds and take pictures.

The only conditions are, number 1 No DJI brand drones, sorry if this is what you have but the MOD do not permit this brand anywhere near their sites. Number two any photos you take must not under any circumstances be geo-tagged or any tagging of the base by name or location on social media (they are the MOD..... they will know if you do). And finally if the base commander or senior staff tell us at any point there is something that can't be photographed, this is none negotiable (MOD site, MOD rules). We're almost 100% this won't be needed but I just need to make it clear for obvious reasons.

Whilst driving on site there will be group leaders from the base leading each group, driving must sensible and respectful with no passing the lead car in your group or leaving the group for any reason. I know some of this sounds a bit harsh but you must understand this is a live and operational RAF base (one of the largest in the UK at 92,000 square acres), so please everyone be on your best behaviour.

I'm sure we'll all have a great visit and can't wait to see you all there.

Dave
