R3 Gibson Motorsport Visit. 16th March.

Regarding our visits to Gibson Motorsport. Sadly on this occasion this event is strictly only available to PCGB members and as we have been allocated so few spaces I am forced to be inflexible on this. Unfortunately, I recognise this means some members will sadly miss out yet again, hence why I simply cannot bend the rules or push my luck with our number allocation. I hope you all understand.

Unfortunately I will be required to be down early to assist with parking and setting up, so with lots of R3 members traveling from various parts of the Region it would be difficult to organise an R3 convoy on this occasion.

Can I remind everyone attending that there is a £10 per person cash fee, to paid to Gibson Motorsport on arrival to cover their additional staffing costs. Please do not expect to be able to pay with a card on arrival as they do not have the facility to take card payments.

Look out for you signing on form link coming soon via email.

PLEASE NOTE: Unless you have booked a joint visit it is not ok to simply turn up with a mate, guest or passenger as they simply will not be able to take part. All members must be registered in the list shown above. If you are unsure you have been allocated your space or unable to attend please get in touch ASAP.

Looking forward to this. Afterwards I was thinking of heading up Teasdale for lunch. Anyone interested?

That is on 2nd.
Did anything come of this? Trying to arrange my pass out with the dearly beloved?

I'd offer to try and organise but I don't have any knowledge of the area?

Doesn’t seem to be much enthusiasm for your run out, Simon. I’m not bringing a Porsche, just my workhorse, and not sure about the forecast either, however I can recommend the Fox and Hounds in Cotherstone if you are going Teesdale way.

See you tomorrow anyway. Gordon.

I agree Gordon, someone had the idea but nothing was mentioned again....I’m conscious that I don’t always check the forum everyday so a new thread could pop up somewhere at least i get a reminder for a positive commented on!

I suggested a run, or simply a meet for lunch. I am still up for this if anyone else is. Not sure how the finishing times work, but suggest we could agree something when the tour ends.

Sorry Dave, this thread was from the older visit on the 2nd March. I edited it to remove the earlier date to try to avoid confusion for the visitors on the 16th.

The event for the 16th is currently fully booked and as everyone is coming from different parts of the region we are just meeting at Gibson Motorsport.

A space as just become available for the 11.00am group for our Gibson Motorsport visit on Saturday. Please get in touch ASAP if any member would like to take this slot.
