Hi All,

As part of the JPC Community Farm R3 Regional Show on 9th July we will be running our popular PCGB concours event again. This will be a similar format to previous annual shows at Witton Castle for those who are familiar. It will be open to all within R3 preferentially, a visitor region's section may be made available depending on demand from our region.

These are very worthwhile events to take part in to be able to show you pride and joy in it's fineness condition. Prizes will be awarded for Regional winner and Visitor along with maybe a Mystery category...However winning a PCGB concours is completely priceless naturally.

Our friends from Porsche Teesside have kindly offered to help us out with the judging.

Whether you are a seasoned hand or completely new to concours they are fun events and a great chance to get involved in a very exacting aspect of ownership with like minded people.

Anyone interested please reply to this post and we'll send the appropriate Google forms for registration details.

Further details about the JPC Community Farm event at Croft can be found at https://www.jpcspecialistmotorsports.com/.

Please note that you will need to purchase Tickets for the JPC Farm event to participate in the Concurs at https://www.carcalendar.co.uk/events/jpc-smiles-for-miles-croft-2022/?code=pcgb and are priced at £10 for exhibitor and 1adult and £5 per additional adult.

Many thanks,

David.

Hi David.

Would you please send the necessary forms for registration details for the concours, at the JPC Community Farm event at Croft. I have already purchased the exhibitor tickets.

Thank you

Steve

Just to add, if you haven't already bought your PCGB display tickets, these are sold out, although there are still VIP parking tickets available at £20 each and PCGB R3 additional adult tickets for £5.

Hi Simon, have I missed the chance to enter the Concours event now?

Cheers

I think that you can enter, but if you haven't got your tickets already, you won't be able to park with the club. I've had to buy VIP parking so that I'm not parked in the general car park!

Morning all,

As of this moment we don't have enough entrants to run the concours - if any of you lovely lot are thinking about entering can you let David and I know either by posting on this thread or sending us a PM.

If we don't get more entrants by Wednesday 22nd June then we will have to cancel this part of the day.

Thanks, Amy :)

Hi Amy,

Would have attended and entered Concours this year but we are away. Hope you get enough interest for the Concours, we can’t all be away surely….?

Raj n Sam

Hi Amy,

I'm sure you know it's not my favourite pastime, but I am quite happy for you to put me down for the concours if it will help the numbers. [;)]

Hi all,

It is with regret that we are having to cancel the concours event for the JPC Community Farm show at Croft this year. We have not had the take up in terms of volume that is required to host a concours event.

Thank you to the people who expressed an interest to attend.

Depending on venue of next year's annual show we will look to run another event in 2023.

Many thanks,

David.

Damn - I was looking forward to getting a top 3 position with a filthy car!

Could we flip this to the Corbridge show?

What a shame that we cannot manage to put on a concours at our regional R3 show, considering how many members we have. Whilst I have been a member, we have always managed to get enough support to put on a decent display. [:(]

Perhaps it's because not enough members realised that there would be a limit to the number of cars at the show which meant that it you didn't get in quick you wouldn't be able to get on the R3 display area?

If you are a car exhibitor for this event and need a passenger ticket, I have one that you can have since Mrs Porschekit will not be attending.

You can get it by either letting me know your details on here, sending me a PM with your email so you can print it off, or meet me at the event and I can hand it over.

I'll be leaving from Sunderland and passing the A19 Shell services southbound at Dalton Park at 7.30am for a quick in and out if anyone wants to convoy down, let me know so I'll know whether to stop....[8D]

Morning all, i've got a ticket for saturday at Croft as part of the R3 display. I take it we have to be parked up as part of the display before 9am as i got an email from the organiser saying there is to be no car movement on site after 9am.

Have i understood that correctly?

Cheers Sean

Sean, I also got an email saying that the display cars had to be on site by no later than 08.30am so they can be in place before the event opens to the public at 09.00am, and as you say no movements allowed from 9am till 5pm.

Does anyone know how many of us are going from R3 for the display section?

Cheers John.

I’ll be there too along with my son. I‘ve also booked up for a couple of laps and will hopefully not slow Sean up as much as last time ;) I’ll be bringing my lid, but if anyone else’s has one they would be prepared to lend me on the day for my son as my passenger I would be very grateful.
