R7 members breakfast visit Porsche Centre Hull on 4th July 2021

It would appear we have reached the 90 threshold for attending this event, I am starting a reserve list in case of unforseen cancellations.

Hopefully I have all the names on the first post, away from home working on the mobile phone, it's not easy to correlate the details.

Thanks for organising a great day out, good meet up @ Hull Porsche centre followed by a really good drive out, I must say that having lived round the area all my life I though that I knew most of the roads, well you managed to surprise me with a few That I didn’t. Yorkshire Lavender was aa excellent destination as well. Thanks again Steve & Sally.
 
A big thank you to Peter and Val Rolt for planning and organising such a successful event. Hull Porsche looked after us well too.
Peter and Val‘s route was wonderful, a thoroughly interesting route through stunning countryside and pretty villages, and virtually traffic free too. The custom Google Maps route worked perfectly too, enabling solo travellers like me to make their way faultlessly.
Yorkshire Lavender too was love,y, a great venue, some lavender plants for Jane and some interesting bottles of wine for both of us. To precede the Cotswold whisky we won in the draw.
The drive home in the torrential rain and flooded roads added a useful element of challenge.

Noticed some vineyards on the journey, possible wine tasting for another run lol??.

Yet again a wonderful R7 meet!
Huge thanks to Peter and Val Rolt for organising the meet and fantastic route to Yorkshire Lavender - absolutely brilliant, even if our convoy went wrong 5 miles missing a right turn but we eventually got it back on track.
Thanks to Porsche Hull too for looking after us all so well too.

We too noticed the Rydale vineyard and were told about the Robert Fuller gallery near Thixendale that is worth a visit.

I learnt another valuable lesson on compiling Google map routes and will hopefully avoid waypoints at junctions.

The tulip route had one tricky junction but I think most managed that turn.

All good fun, worth it for the look on the Range Rover mum's face ????? "more effing Porsches!"
