R7 Posh Porsche Picnic - 12th September

Just sent an email out with final instructions for the day but in case any one has missed it - here it is

Hi Everyone

R7 is looking forward to sharing next Sunday with you all.

The entrance for us will be open from 12pm and you are very welcome to use the Sculpture park facilities and enjoy the wonderful surroundings that the park has to offer. Afternoon tea will be served at 3pm from the Café which is located directly adjacent to where we will be parking so make up your own minds as to how much time you want to spend looking around the park. Obviously weather will probably make that decision for us and you may want to arrive closer to 3pm if we have rain. We do however have an indoor location for the picnic if needs be so soggy sandwiches can be avoided.

Tea and coffee are available with the afternoon tea but feel free to bring any other tipple you are partial to.

The postcode you will need for the Porsche Club entrance is WF4 4LG which will take you down Park Lane past the cricket pitch to our secure parking area.

Hopefully the sun will make an appearance for us all.

I have booked 5 tickets, however could do with another one as Luke has decided to come up for the weekend, I think the link for tickets has been taken down! Any chance of getting an extra ticket?

Thanks a lot for organising this and well done !!

Had a great time catching up with people and talking to others we hadn't met before.

(Also thanks to Graham for showing me around he's lovely Porsche and the very informative chat around Porsche in general)

Thanks to everyone for coming on Sunday, the feedback we had on the day was great so we hope everyone enjoyed themselves. As usual these events would be nothing without the members turning up and making the day what it is. Looks like we timed it perfectly with the weather too as it started to rain just as we pulled back onto the drive at home. Karen is already planning next year [:)]
 
Thank you Adam and Karen for organising it - it was lovely to meet people and we were lucky with the weather. Looking forward to next year.
