RABY CASTLE 2006, CARS NEEDED!!!

If I'm around I bring my GT3.

Also everyone remember, Club Trackday 21st September Croft. Book through the club office.

Nick,

I've never even seen a concours event before, let alone participated in one. What would be involved, i.e. what time would I have to get the car there and would I have to stay to the end of the day? The reason I'm asking is I'm definitely going to come along, but am deciding whether to come on my own (leaving my wife with all three kids), bringing the eldest (who is still only 2½) or bringing the sprog-mobile as well (Xsara Picasso) with the whole tribe.
Cheers,

Graham

Graham, its upto you really, clean the car the day before and come on down on the Sunday around 930-10am, or clean it when you get there, depends on weather of course. You don't have to take it to seriously I prefer to look upon it as a show and shine and enter the spirit of it rather than bringing your motor down on a covered trailer etc.
You wont be there all day if you don't want to be, last year we did the judging around 1-2pm and the prizes were awarded around 330pm. It would be great if you could enter though, quite a few 944s this year, should be good, see you soon.

Cheers

Hi Nick

will try to get there in the afternoon but we have the masquerade ball the night before at Beamish Hotel with a late finish of 2 in the morning so I can't promise to be there before lunchtime, hope it goes well and you get plenty of cars from others who aren't boozy stopouts! Will try to plan better next year!!

Julie

Nick,
What are the arrangements for Raby Castle? When I get there is there someone or somewhere we should go in order that the car is parked how you want it etc. Will there be someone 'on the gate'?
Cheers,

As many times during the day as possible with a bit of luck! No set times but I dare say you will know when they start. John Hawkins did say he would like to start them a couple of times.

Thoroughly enjoyed myself, well planned and with a good turnout. Birds of prey display was great to watch and the sound of the Minardi starting up was something else. Well done all [:)]

Hello Nick and team,
Thanks for a great day out. Really enjoyed myself, met a nice friendly bunch of people. Will try and get this on R18's calendar next year and get a few more over for the day.
Cheers,

Thanks very much to all of you, it was our pleasure and thanks for the support.
