Once again, Region 4 have been invited to participate in their annual families day event.

The date for this event is Monday 2nd September 2013.

Places will be extremely limited, numbers TBC.

All correspondance for this event has to be through myself or Richard, under no circumstances should contact be attempted with the Station. Numbers for this event have to be strictly controlled, limited to Porsche cars only and members of PCGB.

This is not be a public event, it is not open to the public but is by invite only and is aimed at Servicemen and Women, their families and associates of the Station.[FONT=Arial"][FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Cost per car is still TBN but should be similar to last year.

So glad that we have been invited to this great event. Looking forward to attending. Do you require names now or later? Lynda Baker[:)]

Following a very good and friendly conversation today (Fri 7/6) with the event coordinator at RAF Scampton. We have provisionally been offered allocation for 20 cars, all must be Porsches and all must be PCGB members. We must also make a contribution of Ă‚ÂŁ10/Car, which has been set by the event committee. Apparently, we will be positioned early enough to form a backdrop for all of the static aircraft. Once again we will meet up at the showground, all timings TBC. Gavin R4 ARO

I have received 20x vehicle passes for RAF Scampton, these have to be completed and returned ASAP. If you haven't applied for 1 of the 20 places, I suggest you do it now as the Base need to know so they can offer any extra places. I will forward passes once we have finalised the numbers. Gavin

All who have submitted names or contacted me directly, I have placed you all on a list for Scampton. Richard or I will be in touch shortly to complete booking in process. Gavin R4 ARO

Everyone who has replied by e-mail or on the forum, I have added you to the list. We still have a few vacancies remaining so if you want to go, get your name down now. I have to send all of the driver/passenger/vehicle details to RAF Scampton shortly. Once again we will be meeting up at the Lincolnshire showground, time TBC. Gavin R4 ARO

Can you add me to the list if it's still open please. Any idea about meeting time as yet? A.

Andrew, I've added you to the list. No idea about timing yet, I know they want us in place before they park the visiting aircraft near us. I wouldn't worry too much about it being too early, It's the RAF, we don't work before 8 and then need a tea first and a briefing. I will inform just as soon as we get a time to meet with the Ferrari club at the Lincs showground. Wonder if they will all start this year? Pah Fiats!

Who spoke to me at North Coates show and asked to be placed on the list for Scampton? Please confirm as only 3 places remaining. Gavin

Hi Gavin Could I make a request to join you at Scampton for the Red Arrows Family Day? Best regards, Roger Theaker RO Region 28J 997 Turbo Basalt Black Beechcraft Baron 58
