RAF Scampton Families Day.

I now have full compliment of 20 cars for RAF Scampton, includes all of those who wrote to me or requested on the forum. If anyone still wants to go, I can put you on a reserve list in case anyone drops out or we get offered another car or two. All those who have applied to go, I now need Car model, Reg number, passenger name before the end of week 2 Aug! Gavin R4 ARO

Scampton Final Joining instructions. This is just to inform you of the final details regarding this year's Scampton Families' Day. We will all meet at the Lincoln Show Ground, next to RAF Scampton to be there before 09.30. We will enter the Showground via gate 5 and park up in our respective car groups. Please allow for the fact that any of you coming from the south in particular will have to navigate around Lincoln at a busy time of the day. At 09.30 all car passes and personal passes will be distributed and shortly afterwards we will drive in convoy onto camp, we'll depart in the order Ferraris (with Lamborghinis and Maseratis) followed by Minis then TVRs and finally Porsches. Passes should be checked as you go through the main gate onto camp so please have them ready so we don't get too much of a backlog onto the A15. All adults should have some form of photo ID available, driving licence is fine. We will be there before the crowds arrive but the time’s been kept to a minimum. As a result we will have to leave the showground for Scampton at the time intended and will not be able to wait around for late comers. Please let me know if you are unable to make it on the day. Looks like you had another great day at Scampton Shame I was working and could not make it this year looking forward to seeing photos
 
Great day - best moment for me was the Typhoon doing things I didn't think were aeronautically possible!! Thanks to Richard/Pamela and Gavin for sorting it out. Andrew
