re drying car after washing

I use a leaf blower to blast most of the water off (my wife tends to complain I am not using it for its intended purpose...) then costco microfibres. Works well.

+1 for the leaf blower, which dries off the discs nicely, and also blows out the debris from the front rads. Also agree on the Polished Bliss towels, very absorbent and last indefinitely. I've also got some synthetic leathers I bought twenty years ago, which are still in one piece, unlike a real leather would be, and are great for wheels, door shuts and cills. Don't know if you can still get them though as I've never looked [;)]

I take car for a spin [:)]

Then on return use a quick detailer.

Other than than use a good quality drying towel.

Throw blades and chamois in the bin [;)]

Hi

Ive always leathered off all my cars and can say that the dry and finish is excellent and the shine from a leathered car is brilliant.

Sure i have to polish the old girl now and then but its a treat for her.

Microfibre and all synthetics have no points in my book.

Happy chami days.

Windows come up brill too.

Use the wife's karcher window vacuum to get 90% off on the striaghtish flat slides and then finish with micro fibre cloths _ I get into trouble every time I use it but drying a black car is a pig.

Nice one. hadn't thought of that one.

I use a Swissvax drying towel, http://www.swissvax.co.uk/product_detail/wash_products/drying_towel_2, this absorbs all of the water and leaves the car dry and ready to detail.

Pat dry as much as possible and the wipe in straight lines only. Works a treat!
