rear suspension problem

Unfortunately, I have experienced almost identical symptoms despite that car having only just flown thru' an MOT test.

I decided to refresh the suspension system taking advantage of the Porsche deal for a complete set of springs/dampers for something like £400

Took the car to Mike at Knutsford "Sports & Classic" and the strip down revealed that the rubber bushings inside the rear control arms were shot (almost non-existent) and that had allowed the toe in/out to fluctuate between power on/off.

Fixed now but £s lighter !

Which necessitated new track control arms c/w bushes, I guess, Pete?

This was what I as on about above and the symptoms are entirely the same as the OP's, so maybe we're onto something [;)]

Yep !

One side only but the original rubber bush was completely destroyed.

Don't even mention the Monroe shocks - they were completely useless and exhibited hardly any damping resistance.
