Rear Tyres

I had Conti's on the D90 on WUF. They worked very well in the wet and dry. Now It's on 18" im using 245/285 Pzero Rosso's which also seem to work very well. Wear rate is approx 3 sets of rears to 1 set of fronts!

The D90's ended up on baby WUF and after a silverstone track day, the Conti's were pretty much blistered and lumpy from picking up other rubber. There are 17" boxster rims with Michelin Pilot Sport's on there now. Absoloutely useless in the wet at Silverstone, but haven't disgraced themselves on the road (yet).

I've never had P6000's as far as I know, but did at one time have OEM P4000's on a past Daimler. Now 19" 255/19 P-Zero asymetrico that seem to work well both in the wet and dry in the SV8-R.

If I were to buy another set of 16" tyres for a 944, I would buy Conti's again.

I've run a cab on 18's with those size tyres. It won't ride horribly, but if you go back to 16's after you get used to it it will seem like a magic carpet.
