The problem with anodysing is that you need a perfect rim to start with. Merely polishing won't do. Anodysing shows up any imperfection. You get lots of small pits after the anodysing process has been done if your rims have seen any corrosion at all in the past. I have been through this process with Adrian before (a top lad by the way whose work is A1). In the end I got em polished an lacquered and they looked great, but the job won't last me forever.
So, it appears that laquering may be the way to go. What about powder coating?
