Hi everyone
Just a reminder not to forget Region 17's Annual Concours being held this coming Sunday 29 June at Highcliffe Castle, Rothesay Drive, Highcliffe, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 4LE. For those entering the concours, entrance from 9.00am onwards, judging starts approximately 10.00am. Come and support the region's concours. All are welcome. This will now be our third visit to Highcliffe Castle for this event. Highcliffe Castle is a superb location. It is a Grade I listed building which has wonderful views of Christchurch Bay and the Isle of Wight. There are lovely walks to the beach and for those of you who wish to, there are tea rooms and the Castle Heritage Centre to visit. Great day out for all the family.

It was a very pleasant event. I was impressed when I learnt this week the cost of the raffle prize which Brett won.
The catering even lured people away from my famous Desperate Dan rolls.
Hampshire castles seem to do better in the catering line than Dorset castles.
 
Glad you enjoyed the concours. We aim to please! We have had a lot of good feedback on the event and hope to return next year. The head count was over 50 Porsche and with the public viewing due to Highcliffe castle advertising, and the help of their staff, it has become one of the highlights of our year. Special thanks go to all the regions volunteers who gave up their time, (when they could have been polishing) to help with the setting up of the parking, placing, gazebo erecting etc
