Phil
formulation of official committee?? thought you said you already had a committee phil have you been fibbing to us?,
I have already said i don't want to be part of a region if its run in this very formal way. for me Porsche ownership is a hobby and the club should be
FUN. I think most of the members already have more than anough of "official business meetings" at work.
for me the most important thing is:
1) that we have a varied mix of events happening throughout the year,
2) there is at least one monthly meeting,
3) there is a monthly report of past and present events in PP
4), the web site and also the forum are kept current and informative,
5)that members questions are answered promply,
6) local porsche information/help is available,
7) that ALL new members are welcomed to the region and encouraged to take part.
for me ALL members have a say and are encouraged to take an active roll in the region ...NOT just a select few "committee" members who tend to become a elite/clique that can be very offputting to new members.
looking forward to the meeting its going to be very interesting.
