Regional Concours

Hello Peter (and anyone else who needs to know), The Porsche Centre will open their car park at 10:00 (ish) so no point arriving much before then as you will have to park on a rather busy road. Hopefully judging will commence (that is 'start' for anyone from Yorkshire!) at approx 11:00 provided we get everyone parked okay and I get a brew beforehand. Lunch will probably be about 12:30 but that is down to PCB to arrrange. I would imagine the presentations will start about 15:00. Weather forecast is 'cracking the flags' so bring sunglasses, a hat, sun cream etc (and plenty of cold drinks). You also need to bring bribe money if you want any chance of getting a podium place (just check with Rob on exactly how much you will need). Cheers, Fred

moderators! could you check the blatant racism in mr.hindle's post above and take the appropriate action.. I thank you...[;)]

You may find that you have trouble with the border guards when you try to sneak back into Lancashire. Going to Yorkshire (apparently it got it's name from the word used by the Viking raiders for 'landfill site') instead of R18's Concours - where is your sense of duty? [:)]

Zeb, I may be wrong, so apologies if so, but did your signature used to say something about being a Blade fan?

You had better book Rob now to defend you, he worked a miracle for one speed demon we both know! [:)] (He'll be getting ready for a new engine fairly soon so could do with the readies!) [8|] Cheers, Southerner doing missionary work in Lancashire so Lancastrians can then go on to do missionary work in places such as Pontefract, Wetwang, and Blubberhouses.

Hi Zeb - can't help you there pal as I agree with Fred on this one!!! Fred has been exiled with us from down south for so long now that he thinks he's a Lancastrian and to be honest he fights our corner so well that we dare not upset him in case he turns on us!! [:D][:D] In fact he is more Lancastrian than most of us and we all support his Yorkshire bashing - which is most definately within the rules of the Forum!! It's all fair game. Carry on Fred - great banter and such fun to watch the incomers from over the wrong side of the Pennines squirm. [:D][:D][:D] PS Only kidding!! [:)]

Well I'm half Yorkshire and half Lancastrian so will have to declare a conflict of interest. New engine still sweet as a nut and WILL last forever! All donations however are still gratefully received!

peter...you could not be more wrong than a wrong thing on wrong day sponsored by wrong.com...![:D][;)] My allegiance is for the blue side....Sheffield Wednesday ('til I die as the song goes) which is why I was so happy that a good old lancashire team won last monday! [:D] As regards freds blatant racism...I'll think of some inventive way to get him back folks!![:D]

I had better book in at John's place then for sometime after your drenching at Le Mans. Take some oily sun block with you, it'll help stop the skin from absorbing the rain too much. [:)] Cheers,

I know, I thought i'd taken a wrong turning and ended up on the somme last year...[&:]

Many thanks for all of the people who turned up at PC Bolton yesterday. We had a fantastic range of cars. All of the cars looked stunning and the colour of Phil's 924 was amazing (where's my spray gun?). A worthy winner, Mark Greenwood with his 1998 993, well done Mark, hopefully we will see you and the car at Blenheim. Sorry I didn't get to speak to everyone, I was wandering around like a blue a**ed fly for most of the time! Cheers, Fred

Fred, Thank you for organising the day. Your hard work did not go un-noticed. A good day out, must remember to clean my car for the next one.[:D][:D][:D]
