Congratulations to Albert Walsh in his appointment today as PCGB Register Director. Albert brings with him a vast knowledge of the marque.

Indeed - Team Mangetout are slowly infiltrating at the highest levels [;)]

When news gets out that Cornbury House is up for sale and we are buying an old mill in Lancashire then the proverbial will really hit the fan [:D][:D][:D]

On a serious note, many congratulations to David and Judy who were awarded one of the Club's highest accolades today - honorary membership for life. Very well deserved too.

Absolutely.

Well done Albert!

Enjoy your roll as RD On what is a great Board to serve on!

Suggest to RK as a first move he may wish to get the next workers conference and AGM at Blackpool prior to moving Head Office.[;)]

Sorry David

In the exciment of RK offer of moving Club office North I overlooked congratulating yourself and Judy on your award.

Well done.

Well John, your term in office officially concluded this morning...

Many thanks for your contribution to the Board, you will be missed and you got a nice round of applause.

I need volunteers for parking at Althorp so don't be a stranger... (hint hint everyone)

PS - whilst Blackpool has historically been a popular venue for party conferences, I am not yet ready to be crucified by PCGB... Cornbury House remains a fine venue!

Have to add my congratulations to David & lovely Judy (well David's lovely really but didn't want to say that on here)-they really deserve the honour -also congrats to Albert-I just hope the Board will be able to cope with his jokes-where expert knowledge of Ford Anglias gets the club is another matter, but his skill with static [;)] cars should compensate.[:)]

Were cornering the PCGB market up here in Lancashire and well deserved too.

Well done David and Judy - it was a pleasure to award you the Honorary Members status in recognition of you commitment and service to the club.

And of course well done to Albert - its great to have you on the team!

Just heard the news, and sincere congrats to y'all - Albert, David, Judy - the club will benefit massively.

All the better is the continuation of the theme that the north : south divide is being frittered away slowly but surely. Based as it is on reliable, enjoyable, considerable contribution to the very core of the club from north of The Cotswolds. Long may that percentage continue to rise ! [:D]

We also would like to congratulate Albert, David and Judy. Albert certainly knows a thing or two about cars so should be an excellent Register Director.

The look of total astonishment on David's face had to be seen to be believed.....! We are sure he thought that Peter had read out the wrong names.

It is an absolute pleasure to work with them all and the Directorship and the award are thoroughly deserved. Well done all round.

Glad to hear were moving north......[;)]....I mean, anyone would think Team Mangetout were taking over if they didn't know better.

Many congratulations to David & Judy on their achievement and best of luck to rest of the board now albert has joined......[:D]

Thank you all for your encouragement and support, all I can say is I will do my best in the role of Register Director and of course I feel I still have an awful lot to learn but I'm sure that as a team we will prove that PCGB is a force to be reckoned with!!

Albert

Please wear the support always-the -encouragement- could however be slightly painful-as to learning, try the Open University & whenever have you been a team player?[:D]

Seriously, many congratulations on your appointment--we look forward to welcoming you back to the R18 fold to tumultuous applause.

Sorry been out of touch but congrats Albert!! I gotta assume the Lancs massiv is taking over the world. Which Register did u look after in the past?

But it is a more interesting drive to Blackpool, (and shorter [;)]) although one has to look out for sneaky plod with their speed guns on the way home [:(] I have to admit that the scenery on final arrival is better at Cornbury House.

The Porsche Ford Prefect!

I think the criteria for previously holding an RO or RS position no longer applies, look at the sterling work RK has done.

Cheers,

Thanks Fred, very kind.

Questions about Albert's eligibility to stand were posed at the conference on Saturday. He was voted in on Sunday unanimously with no votes against and no abstentions.
