brake as I was turning into the corners and not all in a straight line before hand...
Directly contrary to what Gordon and Vicki were saying in the briefing session!
I've been told this technique before- but would suggest that the Theory was for everyone(muppet level) where the instructions on the circuit were tailor made for the level of the actual driver..
My instructor just showed me the lines I should be picking up on that circuit..[&:]

That's the fella!

Along with my bedside reading material mentioned above, I am also going through all of these great driving tip pages on my iPhone each evening...

Reading is a by-product of crappy driving weather and traffic filled roads. Looking forward to having some fun in April down South with everyone though...

If you have accidentally left your braking too late...

That sounds a familiar concept (Graham Hill Bend, Brands, 2009 - twice!).

Hi

Had a great day out, thanks for opening it up to non 997's

Would agree with those who said we were there 30 mins too early, and the theory went on a bit too long in relation to the actual driving - I was only just getting the hang of the kick plate after 3 goes and then it was all over, same with the low friction track - if I had a couple more goes I would have gained some confidence and learned more. That being said it was a great day and I really enjoyed it.

Also have a couple of videos of the day as a reminder:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwSpl3rhlyc&feature=player_embedded - captures the RS at the end....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=keDsBjQXoCA - need to change the titles for accuracy, but you get the idea

Pete

Well done on capturing the GT3RS spin [8D], as you heard on the video clip, quite a few of us were taking a fair bit of interest in it [8D]
