Rims

I've got 18" Carrera 7.5 and 9 on my 03 and they look terrific BUT be prepared for a much firmer ride even with std. suspension.
I now drive alot on secondary sealed roads and to improve comfort and steering am fitting 16" 6and 8 with Pirelli P-0 Rosso
Cheers,
Glenn

Finally managed to get a 'decent' photo of the car with its current rims [:)]

After much debating I have decided to stay with the current Boxster S II wheels that are currently on the car.

Here a proper photo....

I think that's probably a good decision given the state of the type of Irish roads you'd be inclined to be throwing your Boxster about on. Me bruvver in Kerry lost his suspension so many times, burst so many tyres and buckled so many rims, on main road potholes, he decided the only solution was to give up on regular cars and drive a beaten up old landrover. Even Dublin City potholes did in my CLK suspension a few years back. When I go back home I still find myself really trying to hold back on the sort of roads the Boxster is made for. The Irish Republic is full of them but unfortunately it's almost a certainty that you'll encounter a huge pothole while doing 60 or 70mph, then it's bye-bye fancy rims.
