rinsing after washing

Maybe I need to get a BJ in my Porsche ?

What type of blower would you recommend ? No dog blowers please !

I've been using a 'de-ionising' filter and it defiantly makes a difference. Problem is I've got a birds nesting in the eves above my garage an if the car is left to dry naturally I'm guaranteed a custom paint job in addition to the Basalt Black :) I feel a trip to DIY land for a petrol blower coming on. Great another excuse for a new toy!

LOL, we are a sad bunch.

My neighbours have had to watch me cleaning the car for 3 days now. 2 hours Sat on interior, 2 hours yesterday on the wheels and 2 hours today on the bodywork - they think I am mad.

Jesus, same here I ordered one and love it, I do actually use it on the pressure washer for a rinse and no problems, I also use it to fill the bucket, works great there. oh and also in the windscreen washer tank...see it has many uses!

I've used this for a couple of washes now, I think the benefits are worth it. When I first washed the car, I hadn't done a full detail but now that has been almost done, the softer water does seem to fall off the car and make that annoying stage between the rinse and either finishing there or applying a protective layer much easier.

I use a hi-tec water-soaker-magic-upper thing and that is all I need now to get the car Ok after a quick wash.

Hmm that'll make me an outcast then - Just got to the point of deciding it needs cleaning again , the second time in 4.5k miles and since buying the beast on 1st March. Last clean took half an hour at a car wash/power cleaners
