ROAD ANGEL PLUS, etc.

does the Road Angel Plus beep or put out some audible warning if you exceed the speed limit?

what else does it do/tell you audibly?

Hi
Camcayenne is right in what he says about the difference between radar and portable laser detectors. With radar you get 'bleed' from the unit (unless it is turned off between being used directly) but the laser unit is a very different animal and highly accurate, taking up to 120 readings per second, and with various scopes can operate at up to 1km away (including nice printout with photo).
Doesn't need a big target either - can be as small as a biker's lid!
Your only hope is to pick up a lock on another vehicle, if it's you, then you're toast I'm afraid![]
Best to be co-operative and pleasant to the officer (appealing to his better nature)and hope that he's more akin to offer 'advice and education' rather than an FPT or NIP.
As mentioned before, discretion and judicious application of right clog best practice![;)]
Regards
Rob
