RPM Register Meet 20th October

Likewise and thanks for the helpful and useful comments about buying one to track and race.

I have seen two cars today as a result and have two or three more to look at next week.

I think I am going to be an owner pre Xmas as I sell 997 turbo so not wholly without a Porsche.

Sorry I couldn't make this, but we had a family Anniversary party, so wouldn't have seen the next one had I come to this....

Unfortunately i couldnt make it in the end either, perhaps next time, as a new owner it would have been good to look around all the other examples.

Thanks for organising this Ken, it was good to meet you and other 968 owners, hope you'll soon be back behind the wheel of yours. Thanks also to RPM for their hospitality - and for giving my cab a test drive to see if a suspension refresh would be money well spent (no, as it happens!).

Plenty has already posted a few photos on the 968uk thread re this meet, the few I took are here :

Hi Ken,

I trust your rehab is progressing well and that you are soon (if not already?) back behind the wheel of your 968?

A belated many many thanks for organising the RPM visit - I thought they were wonderful hosts who imparted some terrific gems of knowledge about 968's and Porsche's in general, well worth the trip from Norfolk!
I loved their business ethos which had shared values I use in my own business! They deserve to succeed & judging by their new premises they certainly are!

It was a busy weekend as R12 visit Maxted Page & Prill the next day which again was very informative!

Apology for the late acknowledgement of a wonderful visit!

Regards

Tony Wickins
