I have to disagree. Weather can be wet anytime of the year and April is no better than March in that respect. Driving last Friday in the wet was a learning experience, those that drove benifited. To say there were more parked up is not quite correct either, the format of the day has always been that it's a long day, from 9-5pm if you like. My GT3RS was on Pilot Sport Cups and the photos show the water was a handful but not impossible. My last lap was about 4.30pm, similiar to other years, by then I've had enough.ORIGINAL: gordon
Had a great day Although it was mostly wet all day. The Strasse 944 race car hit the Armco driver was ok car was a mess. Think they should make this event in mid April as felt there was more Porsches parked up and by 3 it was deserted .. Shame as it was POT first event video to follow once I convert it cheers G Roll on the Ring at Easter
The RS Day is hardcore, usually with way better than average driving skills compared to the normal trackdays. Wet does not scare us !
Thanks to Melv and POT for another brilliant event, only 362 days left 'til the next one !

I'm going to have to disagree with that as well...the lap times don't support "better than average driving skills" - especially considering the capabilities of the cars. Last year in the dry you could have counted on 1 hand the number of drivers getting lap times less than 2 minutes. I actually think there is a lull in the capabilities of the drivers compared to say 5 years ago...
From a TDO:
"...both timing and data logging totally invalidates any drivers insurance and in fact leaves them open to legal action from the circuit/tdo/other users if an accident is had. TDO/Circuit is protected to some degree if driver breaks the rules...."
