RS Insurance with trackday cover

Spoke to Danny at Hagarty...basically he said my car was too much of a track car with its full cage and ECU mods (?) .He said that they only insure "peoples pride and joy's" and not "track cars". After those comments I decided to leave it at that! Anyone who knows me and has seen how clean I keep my car/cars, will know how much it is my "pride and joy"!

Hmm, strange attitude from them Matt. Perhaps they've had their fingers burnt recently with a big trackday claim ???? There's certainly no doubting the standard and pride you take over your car, but as you say I don't think there's any further you can take this !

Good luck .......

Hi there Jamie, hope you are well! Hope you have been out in that lovely black car of yours!!!
Yes, I have a feeling you could be right Jamie when you suggest that they may have had their fingers burnt.

Might we see you up at Oulton in October?
Take it easy pal!

Regards, Matt.

Really sorry to hear this Matt, but you can still drive my car !

Actually, the Maritime CS is with AON !

How can one possibly get inside the head of loss adjusters ?

Maybe the light has just not been turned on.

I remember how much searching I did to insure the N-GT after I had bought it.

330 bhp ? I couldn't possibly sir (shag your wife ?)

Well, she wasn't offering so ...

Matt,
I haven't seen my car since the beginning of July .......... I bit the bullet and decided to get the oil use issue looked at properly (and a few other bits beside), so it's been at GT One and 9m for the last six or seven weeks. After two rather large bills I should have the car back fit and healthy with essentially a brand new engine later this week ..............
Yes, I suspect you will see me at Oulton, assuming I can get everything run-in by then.

Jamie
