Nice video.
How do you hold the camera in the roof of the car?
I must get out more (it's a very wet weekend in Scotland...)

John and Rita

Great route on Saturday including the wooly mobile chicanes!!

Thanks for all the hard work, also to Andrew for video and to John H. at Specialist Cars for the usual excellent hospitality.

Great company, great day - I hope our friends from south of Watford enjoyed it.

Andrew W.

Really well organised event as usual, thanks John.

I know some of the Essex Region partaker were impressed with the parking and restaurant reservations.
The scenery and route was aslo appreciated

Irene and I also enjoyed the trip even though it was our 4th visit to Whitby with PCGB

Also thanks to John at Specialist Cars, coffee and biscuits were appreciated

Regards

Adam & Irene

We did try to make it but a combination of a late set-off from Huddersfield and heavy traffic on the A64 meant that we never made it to Specialist Cars. We did try to pick up the convoy en route and waited at Hovingham and then followed the road through Nunnington but without success. I remembered that Helmsley had been mentioned in John's e-mail so we waited there for a while but gave up at 12.00 and decided to have a wander around Helmsley and then head home.

Pity we missed it but we did try not to!

PS John. We found Goathland and it was nearly as good as the fish and chips.

Pleased everyone enjoyed the run, Rita thanks you for the wonderful bouquet of flowers.

Would also like to thank John at Specialist Cars for his coffee and chocolate cakes!

Our photographer, Andrew, excelled himself this time with the video and stills - fantastic!

Fish and chips at Trenchers were the same high quality, although we arrived a little late, the manager Darren commented "Porsches were supposed to be reliable!"

It was good to meet fellow members from Essex and hope they will come back here again.

all the best

Hi John
Looks like I (complete with grandson) was the only representative from the NE Region this time. As discussed in Whitby, waited at the Lion Inn on Blakey Ridge until such time as I was sure I'd missed you, then hot-footed it over the moors to Whitby via Rosedale, Egton Bridge, etc, only to find I got there before you!! Still enjoyed the run immensely, even though I was not part of your convoy. The line up on the Endeavour Wharfe really impressed young Jack. He took loads of photo's, including this one of your car which he particularly liked. The weather was OK, and I'm sure the Essex Region people will have enjoyed Specialist cars, your run, and of course the fish & chips.
See you Thursday at Croft
Regards
Alan Burton
