Rutland 2014

I shall be honest Mark, when you said you were going for Gold wheels, I was initially unsure of how it would look. You seem to have got the shade right, and I must say that it looks spot on. There were some lovely looking cars present there today, each great to its own merits. I got to meet some familiar faces in addition to new ones as well which is always great. It is fantastic to see meets being as active as they are. Here is to a Rutland 2015 and some new faces:).

ORIGINAL: MarkK Noticed you have a race seat in your Boxster!
mmm - the standard sports seats are pretty useless for trackdays. The bucket seat also works well with the m030 suspension & makes the car feel much more sporting. It's only an occasional car & still very comfortable. Will be interesting to do a back to back comparison with the 944

A massive "thank you" to Andy Watson for once again stepping up and organising the traditional kick-off to the 944 season.

Got to be said - perfect organisation and a very good attempt with the weather! - Thanks very much Andy! Thanks Andy, and Lin of course, for all the hard work: this year was the biggest, and the best, Rutland gathering yet. A special thank you to the White Horse as well, they got the food and service pretty spot-on this year, despite nearly 30 of us arriving all at the same time on a busy Sunday. Great to see Andre giving his car some welly, to meet some new people and see some old friends again, and to get half-decent weather for Rutland at last! Roll on 2015. For those who like this sort of informal meet, don't forget the St. George's rally, last bookings this week I think. Very cheap, a nice drive through beautiful countryside, and good company. Look forward to seeing you at some of the other events this year. Keep an eye on the events sticky, let us know if you want something added, and get on the UK Transaxle Facebook page. [:)]

Cheers for the pics Mike [;)] ...and there's been no mention of 3 meats yet, that's a surprise (cough Andre, cough [:D] )

Thanks Andy, well worth the 250mile round trip. Here is the other end of the line up. [:D]

Nice set of photos, Mike :)

It was a great day and yes the best one yet, we will have to aim for 30 cars next year! I think also next year I will book a car parking area for us with Anglian Water, be nice to have our own little corner? Thanks everyone for your kind comments, but really everyone makes it easy for us just glad you all enjoyed it, means you will be back [:)]

Yep, excellent turnout and great to meet old friends again, although I seemed to miss chatting to some - must mingle more next time! As ever, thanks for organising, Andy!
