ORIGINAL: Thorpe Hello. Been a PCGB member since August 2012. Hoping to coax my 'saved it from the brink of oblivion' S2 along for this little jaunt - if you read this Ed I have yet to fit them so I'm hoping they will be o.k - is your motor back in action yet? Looking forward to meeting you all at this one - l hope the weather stays fine! Best regards. Zeusy.
Great - some one slower than me at fixing stuff[:D] My car is done, just a few tidying jobs I think. Had to replace the reference sensor this weekend, but it's starting again now. Will be taxed & tested ready for Rutland...will be good to see you there

Hi Ed ....... I have difficulty keeping the bits together ........ and then remembering where they all fit. Zeusy.

I know - that's been a challenge for me when refitting the engine as we did it as a team - and some of the finishing jobs (intake etc.. ) were bits I didn't take apart..

Ok, i'm going to say my car will be ready and i'm driving it up from Beaconsfield to the meet.... Rear spoiler to fit, new dash to fit and belt change. What could possibly go wrong ?????????

Beaconsfield? I'm just up the road in Great Kingshill. Could go together, or if you're stuck then you're welcome to the passenger seat. [:)]

Thanks for the offer Paul, but i'm driving up on the Saturday and staying with friends in Outwell Sat night. But i might take the passenger seat offer if it all goes pear shaped.........

I saw Peter Empson today - he's hoping to come along (although the white car isn't really fixed yet..)

That's my lift gone then.........
Not at all. It's a three-seater van. [;)]

Seriously, the 944 is a four-seater with loads of luggage room. [8|] Ok, Steve has first option, Empson second. [:)]
