S2 Airbox in LUX badge panel?

You'll need the cooling hoses to the throttle body otherwise you risk icing of the throttle plate, which would be a serious problem.

A couple of quid on longer hoses is better than poor running (or a jammed throttle.)

Oli.

Really? I thought it was there to help with warm up emissions and the throttle body has a pretty savage spring on it, will have to look into that one.

Pretty sure the other models do without it, but on turbos the turbo is just underneath the plate so it stays pretty warm. I had a mini that used to ice its carbs and on a couple of occasions the throttle got stuck wide open - exciting when you are approaching a hump back bridge!

Well, it made it to the Nurburg ring and back with no icing this weekend. It even went 240 miles to 36.8 litres of super unleaded at one point. Induction noise does get a bit loud but I consider it a success.

The 'ring was fun but absolutely terrifying in the wet, car swapped ends in pretty much a straight line, stayed on track though thankfully. As balanced as these cars are they can still catch you out.

In the wet you need to use anything but the 'correct' line, as virtually all grip disappears here.

Yes that point was re-appearing in my head whilst travelling backwards trying to reverse park at high speed also the cost of crash barrier per metre.

Not sure on the name of that part of the track but it was a little way after the tight rhd corner with the large gravel trap about a quarter of a way round. And as it is classed as a public road at no point was I out of control and meant to park it and at no point did I require new pants.

After Adenau Forrest - left hand kink before a proper left when you start to go downhill (towards Adenau bridge)?

Or possibly after Aremberg, which is virtually a hairpin and has a bridge over just after the exit. You then go down into a dip before rising up to Adenau Forst.

It was before Adanau, It was going down the fast drop that goes back up with a slight kink. The foxhole? It scared me so much I pootled the rest and vowed never to drive it in the wet again.

I know exactly where you mean. Theres a well knwn and frequently linked-to on PH clip on Youtube, where three people in a Citroen ZX spin there: also missing everything.
