Yes the Porsche script is a hi-temp vinyl sticker, I got a set of four off eBay at the time.
Chas - nowt wrong with M1144s, they're what I use on the Turbo and that sees lots of track work.
I did not say they did. Most people who I know are quite happy with them (around town in my 205 the braking with those pads became as sharp as a modern Mini, to the point I almost kept on going through the windscreen if I did not drive the car for a while!). However, some peeps have said that they never 'heated up' and were poor at anything bar track speeds which I find hard to believe; Whether they had the M1155s (which I would have felt you would have in your car) or a rubbish pad of sorts is another matter. I for one can vouch for M1144s much like yourself .

Wilwood calipers had a reputation for lacking torsional rigidity, probably as a result of their lack of mass. Many styles lack dust seals too, making them far from practical.
I did wonder why Wilwoods appear to be 'cheap';the torsional ridigity is one point worth considering. However, most of the sets I have seen (well, the Midlites) have dust seals on . Saying that, in some applications (and mine) the stock brakes were truly awful making most things an improvement!
