S2 Starting trouble.??

Cheers, we have quite a few locally so I'll give them a ring. Only looks a 2 minute job to change it. £100 seems a bit steep for such a small part and the time involved but then I'm a typical yorkshireman, a bit like a scotsman only with all the generosity squeezed out of him!

Ok, no takers then? I've done a sysematic check and it looks like it's the fuel pressure regulator thats at fault. So, where's the best pace to get one. It's a bosch part but is it 944 specific?
TIA Chris

My neighbour had his done at a local Bosch specialist, recommended by a local garage but I'm sure they would be in the yellow pages, all in was a bit over the £100 mark.

This sounds v expensive to me. I'm sure I paid 30 quid for a 3 bar FPR. I may even have the old one. I'll see if I can dig it out. Five minute job to change it.

I had the exact same problem but mine was sorted by a new battery started perfect cold, wouldn't when warm.

some1 mentioned to me heat inducing increase in resistance thus less voltage... maybe something to look at
