Sabotage of 993

It gets even more bizarre. Everyday transport is a Skoda Superb Diesel due to around 35,000 miles a year. This was parked on the drive during the trip to Australia. It went in for a full service yesterday whilst I was at work. A call from the garage said that when they removed the air filter to fit a new one they removed around a cup full of peanuts from the casing. Further examination of the engine bay revealed the little furry bastards had decided to relieve the car of some of its sound insulation. The other half's Golf GTI shares the garage with the 993. I'm trying to buck up the courage to open the bonnet and see what devastation is lurking underneath.

If your other half will not cooperate just get rid of the cats to a cattery. She should take the hint and realise what will happen to her if she does not do as you ask.

Then replace the two cats with one more efficient model, or buy a 'Mauser' [:D] ?.

Incidentally, I would not necessarily suggest that you do the same with your other half although she should see the dangers of ignoring your request..... [;)]

LOL Mike!!

Mice ate the red plastic positive battery terminal cover on my Pajero once. Why?

If it makes you feel any better, I found a drowned mouse in my motorhome windscreen wash bottle once (there was no top on it). I wondered why it smelt so bad when I washed the screen......[]
