Sat Nav Disc

Skippie,
Let us know how you get on with the Satnavi solution. I want to upgrade my Cayenne satnav before holiday to France in August but unwilling to pay Porsche price! I do have a tomtom for the wife's car, but not a particularly elegant solution if Satnavi works.

Anyone else any experience with Satnavi maps, particularly fro France?

Hi guys, following what was said on here I bought the GPS Angel for my iphone to use the co-ordinates for the UK postcodes on my PCM
However I cant seem to figure out how to input those co-ordinates into the PCM
eg...
My post code CF30NZ gives me this result in GPS Angel

Latitude
5 1.5 16229
51 30' 58.426" north
Longitude
-3.093638
3 5' -37.096" west

Can anyone tell me which parts of this I need to enter into the PCM to get to this postcode
The PCM fields seem to be set-up differently
Cheers

From memory you put in the 51 30 58 bit, ensuring you have North,

ditto with 3 5 37 West

It does not accept detail beyond whole minutes.

After reading this thread I bought the Satnavi maps which I loaded last night. It performed a short software update and came up no problem. The label on the DVD says 2010 maps but as Richards earlier post the files are dated December 2008. Out of date but the latest available.
Thanks all for the info.
