It does bring out a wry smile when one enters the world of the "Indy Porsche Specialists". So far as I can tell the process appears to be that someone in the garage decides the forecourt could do with some glamour and promptly takes a visit to car auctions to acquire the odd porker or two. The cars are then brought back to the said forecourt and put on sale with a nice big margin having had no work or checks carried out and the sales moto "the best thing to do it come and have a look, you won't be disappointed"........[8|]
However interesting enough I took a trip to opc Glasgow to see if there was anything interesting 2nd hand within my budget. I was surprised with their offering too in that not that long ago I was told by the opc buyer that my own car would have to be resprayed before they could retail it due to the swirl marks on the paint caused by washing (no scratches/stone chips). Of course I was offered embarrassing money for it, times are tough etc....... However, one of the used C2S's had a share of stone chips and a nice patch of corrosion under the front bonnet. One rule for one and a different rule for another???
