Would that be Juan ? The rubystone red car ?

(I have a terrible memory for names .... )
Yes Chris

Juan is [:D] Juan Carlos Zorrilla, and RS N/GT rubystone, a true gentlemen driver [:)]

Best Regards

That's the man [;)]

Would please give my massive thanks to him ? And ask if he found the SPA stickers under his windscreen wipers ?

My friend and I (Paul -- 964RS) made full use of the Sport passes he gave me --- in the afternoon we ran in both the Fun and Sport classes.

This left only enough time to re-fuel and check tyre pressures etc. between these sessions and as the track was quietening, we were told we were doing 2.55's ish.

So we were very very happy [:D][:D][:D]

sub-2.55 can be done in straight RS... Sean must have been digesting his crepes [;)]

Well, it certainly wasn't my watch or my battery !

But 'just done a 1.58 on the Donnington GP circuit, so maybe it's not so far out ...

'Also did a 3.05 (from 3.15 at the start) under Sean's tuition on the Saturday afternoon, had Sean on the Sunday morning in the rain showing me the wet lines, and drove in Sport and Fun in the afternoon.

Knowing how I do pick up time as I become more familiar with a circuit, to pick up 10 seconds on a quietening circuit of this length would not surprise me ...

As an aside Charles, I also overtook Ian very quickly out of Stavelot and before Blanchimont in one of these sessions --- his comment was, you could certainly see the extra 50 horses making a difference, but I'm not sure that Ian is yet getting the best from his car. He has had a recent engine rebuild.

It is possible to get down to the low 2.50s in a 964 RS on Michelin Cups.

I know someone who laps around 2.48 in a maritime blue 964 Clubsport on slicks (yes, he is an excellent driver who used to race a 964 Cup).

Quiquedb Hello, all who drive an RS 964, namely to be a highly effective RS, but ..... is not as easy to pilot the 968 CS.

The RS require greater time for adaptation to film the pilot to the maximum.

Although lately I have little training, I expect to be faster than your Portimao ..... Quique there we are.

Our English friends are also a great expert on these cars and an example for fans of the 964 RS, RSR and .... 993 RS Cup

Best regards for our friends the CPGT

Josep

Joseph, your car is faster than mine, sure, also you are faster.[8D][8D]

Any way I am not sure my car is ready to Portimao... May be the 968CS is in perfect condition to be the faster there...

Good summer last days
