One firm seems to have disappeared, or at least their link is no longer correct and Classic Car Solutions (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Classic-Car-Solutions/Bezugsstoffe-/_i.html?_fsub=954933011&_sid=941797261&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322) have what is now an inferior range to 924Werk.

I would stick with UK trimmers ? Where are you based ?
I used these trimmers and they did a great job for the right money , even used original Porsche leather .

I think I might just take the car to the local trim specialist in Bristol. The seats aren't that bad (just a couple of tears in the seams), I just noticed these covers and they looked very neat and maybe someone on the forum might have dealt with these guys before.
Also, massively off topic, I see that you did a a 968 conversion on your 88 Lux. I was thinking of doing an S2 converion on my 84 - not sure if I'm biting off way more than I can chew or if it's even a worthwhile conversion. I have to change the head gasket and belts on my 2.5 and I though, as it has 145k, it might be worthwhile transplanting a larger power unit - could be fun or a complete disaster!
Cheers

If you have the time and money ? You can do anything ?
I seen a 944 on ebay with a 4.0L V8 from a Lexus fitted ??? Why ???
There is a cheap 944 S2 on ebay now with very little damage selling cheap , buy it repair the rear quarter and save loads of time and money trying to covert your 2.5 to a 3.0L
A good S2 engine sells for over 700 pounds ? then bits and bobs ? You will soon be into it for over a grand .
Exhaust is different , ECU , fuel rail and on and on .
Up to you
