Lol. You were right, Hilux - seems to be a common problem due to Porsche changing the alignment marks on the pulleys.

Thanks David - yes! I did even consider replacing her for a while, but such unworthy thoughts are now receding again [;)]
 
That's the right result - well done.

I would ask whether you were charged for the rectification work, but that's a private matter between you and the garage. I would also ask whether you will go back there, but realise that it falls firmly in the same category!

I don't mind sharing Oli - no charge, and I believe it took them a while - apparently they got a bloke down from Birmingham from the Autosport club to take a look at it. [&:] As for your second question, possibly...
