Lol. You were right, Hilux - seems to be a common problem due to Porsche changing the alignment marks on the pulleys.

Thanks David - yes! I did even consider replacing her for a while, but such unworthy thoughts are now receding again []

I would ask whether you were charged for the rectification work, but that's a private matter between you and the garage. I would also ask whether you will go back there, but realise that it falls firmly in the same category!
