See you at Ace Cafe tomorrow?

It was good to meet some new faces last night at The Ace - It was the first time there for me and thoughly enjoyed it.

It was great to see some great cars there although the bass on that beemer was a bit too loud for me ;)

Hi Steve,
It was good meeting you too... But must say the Beemer bass went well with John McGirl Russian dance, don't you think? [:D]

Was great and even got a minor lock-in with the boss afterwards too [;)]

Until next month...!

Yes, I was there and looked around for you; I spoke to Nic and several other people - names escape me - and left at about 9.45. Got into Town just in time to be held up by a very serious car crash on the Marylebone Road.
perhaps we can arrange to meet up somewhere soon. Even before Brands Hatch or, if not possible beforehand, at the Annual bash.
I will try to persuade a few lawyer Porsche owners to join me at Brands Hatch if I can.

Hi All

Thanks for showing the rear end of my SS CAB,I think the picture looks great. Next time we should try and get Jonny McGirl to park up by my car to compare ,should look good.

Chest still buzzin from the big (horrible) bass Beemer.

Dysart Arms 2nd wednesday July, will be on holiday, but there should be a good turn out.

Have fun

Really enjoyed the Ace too, however one downside of the evening for me and I only draw peoples attention to this as a matter of safety was what happened to me on the way there. Whilst travelling on the A406 between Brent Cross and the next Neasden turn off at about 6.00 pm I spotted a group of kids walking across the footbridge. As I got closer the sixth sense kicked in and sure enough a missile hit with tremendous force the front of the car. I thought the windscreen would shatter but on inspection at the Ace I found a vertical cut in the (brand new trim) around my brand new screen. I later deduced that this was a coin. I'm rendered speechless by the whole incident. I talked to one of the police coppers and he said it happens often and they have never caught one of the w****** yet. I had the top removed from my Targa and perhaps this prompted their actions as they may have been actually aiming for the inside of the car and hoping to cause possible death or serious injury to the driver. Perhaps folks should bear this in mind in future if in a convertible along that stretch off road, I know I will, I'm still furious two days later.

Don't blame you for being wound 2 days later I know I would be .... Shame the boys in blue on there bikes can't catch the feckers. Welcome to GB 2005 []

Brilliant night as usual, nice to meet new Porschefiles and place faces to names on the forum, catch ya all at the ACe and brands in August, july is vaction time

I strongly advise that you make a formal crime complaint to Colindale police station. I suspect that these halfwits on the bridge know that on Mondays, late in the month, a succession of fabulous open top and sports cars pass by and they wait for them. As you can guess, it is onoly a matter of time before someone is seriously injured or, Heaven forbid, killed.
If the police are told they will have to do something - even if this takes time. They can put a plain clothes officer nearby or even arrange mobile CCTV - to catch these miscreants and not to collect fines. If you ignore it....

Ok, hope to see you then. Where exactly is this pub i.e. the road so I can find it on my TomTom. And at what time, please?
I will be in the Boxster described below, I have grey/white hair and glasses. I look like a lawyer and can be fairly serious - see earlier post about police report.
Hope to see you then.
