Selling my Turbo New Price £4800 ono

I was going to say that , If the car is as you have quite honestly described (I.E not that great cosmetically) you have little chance of convincing someone to pay 4800 in these dodgy times as 'really' nice ones may fetch 5 to 6000 at the mo. Then I thought hold on he hasn't even described the car how can he test the water ? so , being a nosey so en so I scrolled up to your original ad ( which I should have done straight away) and I remember your car now. Turbo's in that spec and colour are very sellable and that's a lot of 944 turbo and bits you have there ! Personally I would want proof that you had cured the intermitent gear selection problem though [;)] Best of luck Mas

Your right, glad you picked up on this as I forgot. Since that last post I've been driving about without any gear selection problems. It's like what happened before was never a problem. We will have to see what happens in the future but as I said before it's happened two or three times in the four years I've owned it. Whether or not it happened with the previous owner he failed to mention. As such I haven't cured the intermittent gear selection problem because my indie can't find nothing wrong with it after checking. Please feel free to give them a call as I'm no expert....! The number can be found on http://www.vormotor.com PS this is the second time it was checked in two nearly two years although the first time was not by a Porsche specialist.......Just being honest.

Hi Gordon, I'm not exactly sure of the details of the promax level 2 kit other than it consists of a dual port wastegate, an adjustable boost controller and different chips for the ecu. The details can be found on http://www.promaxmotorsport.co.uk/products/35-dual-port-wastegate-manual-boost-controller.aspx. I'm based in Haverhill CB90HS east of cambridge. I hope this helps. Gary

Good looking car, good luck in selling it.. if anything at the new price it may put people off it being too cheap...

I can vouch that it is a nice kit. I got almost 280bhp on the 'rollers of truth' running 15psi max boost pressure and with a K26/6, which I thought was a good result considering the BHP gains compared to a pretty small increase in boost pressure. You could certainly feel a significant step up in performance over standard. Though If I were doing it again i'd go for a Tail wastegate and the Vitesse kit, which is a bit pricier, but gives you so much more flexibility and a better base from which to build on if you have more mods in mind.

That was my thoughts as well but with so much to sort out before moving abroad and having just got a new MOT, I"m looking to sell as quick as possible hence the price

Today is a sad sad day as I'm no longer the owner of a Porsche. Hopefully her new owner will enjoy her as much as I have. I would love to own another one when I move abroad but sadly the roads in India are not really for Porsche motoring......lol Anyway I would like to thank everyone who may have helped me with my questions over the last few years and hope you enjoy your Porsche for many years to come. Thanks again Gary
